A true conquest of the Dolomites, a continuous contemplation, delight and dreaming. Each of the 150 kilometres of the hike will thrill and deeply impress the mountain lover who does not want to tackle the gigantic rock faces.’ This is how this traverse is described in the Austrian magazine that first presented the route in 1966. Since then, its fame has increased every year, as have its walkers. I walked it for the first time when I was 17 years old, and it blew me away, making me fall madly in love. Variety of landscapes, breathtaking views, unforgettable sunsets, easy trails, endless stars. And the constant walking, immersed in grandiose nature. These are the pillars of a journey you will never forget. DIFFICULTY The high route is an easy trek. But. But it is usually done in 10 days, stopping at refuges. We will do it in 8, sleeping under the stars, to experience a complete adventure. We will face an average of 1000 metres of altitude difference per day, we will walk for 6 to 8 hours, with not-so-light rucksacks. This trip is for you if you are already used to walking in the mountains, are not afraid of heights and are prepared not to wash for a week!
