Descrizione del servizio
THE TREK IN BRIEF 3 days of walking 2 nights under the stars 45 km 2500 metres of positive altitude difference 2500 metres of negative height difference Minimum altitude: Col di Prà, 850 m Highest point: Forcella Pape, 2285 m Starting and finishing point: Col di Prà Difficulty: EE WHY DO THIS TREK The Dolomites are the most famous mountains in the world. They come from every corner of the globe to see the Three Peaks, the Odle, the Tofane. But there are smaller groups, overlooked by mass tourism, that are full of charm. Take a little of the American wilderness, the barely sketched paths typical of the wildest Piedmontese valleys, aerial ridge crossings, and add vertical, clear Dolomite spires. You get the explosive recipe for this breathtaking trek. This beautiful loop will allow us to explore this small group, overlooked because it is in the shadow of the great Civetta to the north and the fascinating Pale di San Martino to the south. We will pass through pastures still used by the few local shepherds, dotted with huts used as bivouacs. We will walk on semi-abandoned paths, practically impossible to find for those who do not know them. We will sleep on meadows with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. We will also pass by the famous Bedin bivouac, the only known place in the group, which has rightly earned the appellation ‘the most beautiful bivouac in the Dolomites’. An unmissable trip for all adventure lovers! DIFFICULTY This trek has short stages, but no small differences in altitude. The first two days we will have to overcome more than 1,000 metres in ascent, and the last one almost 2,000 metres in descent! We will carry everything we need for the three days of walking: both sleeping things and food. We will not encounter any shelters along the way. We will spend both nights near bivouacs, but we will not use them, except in an emergency. The path is very uneven, sometimes uneven, which makes walking slower and more tiring than normal. Some short sections are very exposed, so it is not a path suitable for those who suffer from vertigo. PRICE: 150 euro Included: environmental hiking guide, accident insurance Excluded: meals, travel, equipment (hire available on request) Minimum 2 participants, maximum 8 I WANT TO BE THERE!
