We will combine a beautiful trek and a crazy, little-visited peak with a night under the stars, a great sunset and lots of photos! Mondeval is famous among photographers because of its easy access and the many possibilities it offers to take home many beautiful shots. We will set off on the first day from Ponte di Ru Curto, and climb up to Lake Federa, a beautiful mirror for the surrounding peaks. Speaking of mirrors, we will continue on to the famous Lago delle Baste, where we will wait to see the Pelmo glowing from the sunset reflected in the lake's waters. Finally, the time has come to shoot the subject that all photographers love and fear: the Milky Way! But don't worry, I will teach you all the tricks to succeed! The next day a spectacular sunrise awaits us, then one last climb to the summit of the Lastoi di Formin. Although looking at this peak from Passo Giau it seems inaccessible, the path is easy, and does not present any difficulties (apart from the height difference!). In return, the summit offers grandiose views, and vertiginous walls open up beneath our feet! Since a photography course is not complete without a bit of post production, before going home we will all go for an ice cream together, and I will show you the basics of editing night photos. DIFFICULTY Easy trekking, suitable for anyone with some training. The only obstacles are the 1,000 metres of altitude difference on the first day, the heavy rucksacks for overnight necessities and photographic equipment, and the overhangs of Lastoi peak, which make the weekend unsuitable for those who suffer from vertigo.
